We believe the Bible is the infallible, inspired, active and powerful Word of God, without error, and is the full authority and source of truth by which to govern our lives. [II Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12]

We believe God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe, He is the One and True God, and above Him there is no other. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. [Genesis 1:1; Psalm 90:2; Isaiah 45:5]

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His Virgin Birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death on the Cross, in the power of His shed blood to save, heal and deliver, in His bodily resurrection from the dead, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal second coming to earth again in power and glory. [Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:22-23; John 1:1-5; 6-30; Hebrew 4:14-16; 9:14; I Corinthians 15:3-7; Titus 2:13; Hebrew 9:28]

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, and that He dwells within every believer. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and all the manifested gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit available for our lives. We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues. [John 14:16, 26; John 16:7-13, 30; Acts 10:45-46; Acts 19:6; Galatians 5:22-23]

Salvation is a free gift from God to us, bought with the sacrifice of His Son Jesus on the Cross. We believe all men are born with a sin nature, and that Jesus alone paid the penalty for our sin, and none of our own works can “earn” us salvation with God. By grace we are saved through faith. To be saved we must confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, and yield our hearts and lives totally to His Lordship. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith, at which time old things are passed away, and all things become new. [Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8; II Corinthians 5:17;]

We believe in Water Baptism by immersion, in obedience to the Word of God. All those who have accepted Jesus as their personal Savior should be baptized in water as a public profession of their faith in Him. Water Baptism is not essential for Salvation, but is a public demonstration of our profession of the Lordship of Jesus as we walk in our new life in Him. [Acts 2:41; Acts 8:36-39; Acts 16:30; Romans 6:4]

Christ is the head of the Church; He loved the Church and gave Himself for her. We believe in the Church as the eternal and universal Body of Christ; made up of believers who have accepted Jesus and His work on the Cross for the atonement of sin. We believe in the need for believers to assemble together for the purpose of growth and discipleship, edification and exhortation, and fellowship with other believers. [Ephesians 5:22-32; Acts 2:42-46; Hebrews 10:25]

God created us to worship Him. The Bible says to “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord,” and our praise and worship expressed to God is an expression of faith. As we praise and worship Him, He inhabits our praises, and His presence is manifested in our midst. Just as Paul and Silas praised God in their midnight hour in a jail cell, and the prison shook and they were set free, our praise is the pathway to our victory in Him, and defeats our enemy. We believe in praise and worshiping the Lord through singing, clapping, lifting hands, as an expression of our love and faith in Him. [Psalm 150:6; Psalm 100; Isaiah 61:3; Acts 16:25-34]

Jesus did nothing without praying first, and communing with His Father. Prayer is an expression of our humility and dependence upon Him, and we believe Prayer is the foundation of the ministry and that we cannot and will not see the full purpose and plan of God realized, in our church, or as individuals, without continuing, effective, fervent prayer. The Word says, “Man cannot live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” Jesus said that, “The words I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” Prayer is powerful, prayer brings revelation and truly can change the course of a life, business, family, church, city or nation. [James 5:16; Matthew 4:4; John 6:63; II Chronicles 7:14]

We believe God has made us stewards of everything we have, and that these ultimately belong to Him. Tithing is the giving of one tenth of all increase that comes into our house. It is a commandment of the Lord, and it is also a key to worship. Tithing is mentioned both in the Old and New Testaments, with Abraham being obedient and bringing the first tithe to Melchizedek. It is worth noting that money is such an important topic in the Bible that it is the main subject of nearly half of the parables Jesus told. In addition, one in every seven verses in the New Testament deals with this topic. The Bible offers 500 verses on prayer, fewer than 500 verses on faith, and more than 2,000 verses on money. 15 percent of everything Jesus ever taught was on the topic of money and possessions. God desires His people to prosper, and the giving of the Tithe is an important first step in walking by God’s Kingdom principles with our money. “Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats with new wine!” [Proverbs 3:9-10; Genesis 14:20; Malachi 3:10-11; Matthew 6:33]

We believe in the power of God to bring healing and work miracles, through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the Cross. [Matthew 10:1; Mark 3:15; 16:18; I Corinthians 12:9; James 5:13-15]

We believe in the promise God made Abraham regarding him becoming a great nation in Genesis 12:3 … “I will bless those who bless Israel, and I will curse those who curse Israel.” We believe God has an eternal covenant with the seed of Abraham, and we, as Gentiles, are grafted into the root of Abraham and share in Israel’s blessings by faith in Christ Jesus. And as those who have been grafted into God’s covenant, we are called to stand with His people and God’s covenant land. We are also called to “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; they shall prosper that love thee.” [Psalm 122:6; Galatians 3:13-14]

We believe each human being is created in the image of God as either male or female, a gender that is encoded genetically and manifested physiologically prior to birth, not to be altered. Marriage is the union of one man and one woman. The family units formed on these principles provide the foundation of civil society. Children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord. [Genesis 1:26-28; 2:22-24; Psalm 127:3, Proverbs 17:6]
